Treatment Defined
how we can help
Addiction looks different for everyone, and that is why it’s so important to find the most appropriate drug rehabs in California based on your needs. With Atlas Healthcare Group, you can find multiple levels of care at drug rehabs in California.
Levels of Care at Our California Treatment Centers
Understanding Your Options in Treatment
Drug and alcohol rehabs in California specialize in different levels of care because addiction affects everyone differently.
Some people have had a relatively short addiction spanning only a few months or a few years, and they can take care of themselves, but they need help quitting. Others have struggled with addiction on and off for the last decade or more and need help completing their recovery and participating in aftercare.
All too often, people in need of drug treatment go to outpatient California drug rehabs because it’s cheaper or faster when they, realistically, need inpatient treatment. Issues like these can increase the risk of relapse and make it difficult to maintain sobriety. That’s why it’s so important to work with Atlas Healthcare Group to find the right treatment plan for you.

Detox
The first step in the treatment process
Detox is an essential first step in recovery. Regular drug and alcohol abuse built-up toxins in your body, but detoxification removes them. During this phase, you’ll experience severe withdrawal symptoms. These withdrawal symptoms can come with heightened risks of medical complications and extreme discomfort.
Detox is not something you should do on your own. Without proper supervision from qualified drug and alcohol rehabs in California, you are more likely to relapse within the first few days as the symptoms reach their peak.
Thankfully, you can find California drug rehabs specializing in detox, particularly medication-assisted detox (MAT). Detox at drug rehabs increases your chance of getting through your withdrawal symptoms as painlessly as possible.

Residential Inpatient
24/7 Immersive Inpatient Treatment
Inpatient drug rehabs in California have a very structured and organized approach. Many of these therapies and activities offered at different California drug rehabs are similar. Still, some facilities might specialize in dual diagnosis treatment for mental health disorders or more holistic therapies like neurofeedback, yoga therapy, and meditation.
Inpatient drug and alcohol rehabs in California are located throughout the state, many of them in idyllic, natural settings along the coast or away from major cities. You reside at the facility for 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days depending on the length of your program.
Residential or inpatient California drug rehabs provide a full-time schedule of treatment. Drug and alcohol rehabs in California can specialize in tailored sessions for stress management, traumatic experiences, or family therapy. They might also provide special treatment for different populations like healthcare professionals, veterans, women, men, or first responders.
Who It's Best For:

Partial Day Care
Partial Day Treatment
Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) take place at California drug rehabs, with a full-time schedule of therapy sessions following detox. You don’t stay at the drug rehabs in California with partial hospitalization except for your initial detox. That detox can occur at a rehab center or local hospital.
Most partial hospitalization plans last between two and four weeks, operating up to five days per week, with up to eight hours of therapy sessions and other treatment each day. Otherwise, however, you have the same opportunity for tailoring your individual and group sessions or participating in specialty treatment for different populations.
Who It's Best For:
People who are medically stable with supportive, safe home environments but still have problems functioning on a daily basis and require full-time therapy.
Atlas Health Group is a group of like-minded people dedicated to making an impact in the lives of those struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. Our state-of-the-art programs offer high-quality, individualized, evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment that identifies and treats the root causes of addiction and mental illness. Contact our caring admissions team who is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week right now.
Intensive Outpatient
Continued Aftercare designed for you
The next step down in the levels of care offered is Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). These are for frequent outpatient appointments, usually between 10 and 20 hours per week, but still have to attend other work, school, or personal obligations.
Intensive outpatient appointments can be scheduled on weekends, at night, or during the day, depending on your other demands. This can be great for primary caregivers who only have early mornings and afternoons free while their children are at school or working professionals who only have evenings and weekends free.
Some evidence finds that IOPs are just as effective as inpatient treatment for some individuals, depending on the level of care offered by the drug rehabs.
Who It's Best For:
People who are medically stable and don’t need full supervision but want more than just a few weeks of full-time treatment. Many people prefer the step-down approach from a partial hospitalization program to an intensive outpatient program in order to maximize treatment.
Outpatient Treatment
Extended, Long-term treatment
The next level of care is outpatient treatment. Many drug rehabs in California offer all of these levels of care or all of the outpatient levels of care, but you are not required to participate in each of them. You can talk to admissions specialists at each of the drug rehabs to figure out which level of care is most appropriate for your situation.
With outpatient care, you live at home, and you’re typically further along in your recovery, but you still need addiction treatment as you transition back to your regular schedule. With outpatient treatment, you typically have regular meetings with medical professionals, therapists, and group therapy sessions like 12-step programs, but your obligation is less than ten hours per week.
Who It's Best For:
An outpatient program is best for people who are near the end of their initial treatment for recovery and can function on their own but still need support and want to participate in a few hours of treatment every week.
Supportive Housing
safe & supportive living spaces
After initial treatment, not everyone is ready to go back to a supportive, sober home. Many people don’t have available housing or employment necessary to find available housing. But that is where sober living plays an important role.
California drug rehabs can help transition you into sober living facilities. Sober living homes are sometimes called halfway houses. These facilities are communal and designed to help you regain your independence in a supportive, sober environment.
Following treatment at drug and alcohol rehabs in California, sober living facilities maintain some of the rules you had during initial treatment, like curfews, sobriety, and participation in group therapy. However, beyond that, they give you freedom over your schedule and the ability to come and go as you choose.
Who It's Best For:
People who have finished their initial treatment, whether inpatient or outpatient, and need a safe place to live as they continue along their path to sobriety.
Terrific facility for mental health treatment. If you or your loved one is struggling and needs a program. This is the place to call. The staff are excellent and the housing is top notch. It doesn't get any better in California or the country for that matter than Satori Health.

I didn’t know it was possible to get sober until I went to silicon beach treatment center. They give you excellent support and have amazing communication with you at all times. The person who helped me out the most was Stephen Carr, the administration director. He was so genuine, down to earth and gave me motivation and inspiration every single day, but even on the days that I didn’t want it. He support me on my journey every step of the way and I couldn’t thank him enough till this day. I tried for 2 years to get sober and now I am already 10 months sober !

I can’t put in words how grateful I am to have passed through Silicon Beach Treatment Center. They will always have a place in my heart and if you are looking for help this is by far one of the best places there is out there.

Silicon is a great program. From the Clinical Director, Alisha (Ali) to House Managers like Stephen Castel, everyone cares and genuinely wants to help you recover in whatever ways they can. The sober livings are clean and spacious, and don’t feel crowded like housing in treatment often does. Groceries are provided with client input on what we like and want for the house
