What is Crystal Meth?
Top-Rated Meth Rehab in California
Methamphetamine, or “meth,” is a powerful and heavily addictive stimulant drug. Crystal meth is a variation of the drug that looks like shiny bluish-white rocks (crystals) or pieces of glass. People who use meth may smoke, short, inject, or swallow the drug. Meth increases dopamine in the brain and is largely known for effects such as increased energy and euphoria. However, the risks associated with meth usage are severe.

I didn’t know it was possible to get sober until I went to silicon beach treatment center. They give you excellent support and have amazing communication with you at all times. The person who helped me out the most was Stephen Carr, the administration director. He was so genuine, down to earth and gave me motivation and inspiration every single day, but even on the days that I didn’t want it. He support me on my journey every step of the way and I couldn’t thank him enough till this day. I tried for 2 years to get sober and now I am already 10 months sober !

This treatment center is one of the reasons why I am alive today and clean and sober. The care I got from staff while my stay there was so genuine and caring. I can’t put in words how grateful I am to have passed through Silicon Beach Treatment Center. They will always have a place in my heart and if you are looking for help this is by far one of the best places there is out there.

Silicon is a great program. From the Clinical Director, Alisha (Ali) to House Managers like Stephen Castel, everyone cares and genuinely wants to help you recover in whatever ways they can. The sober livings are clean and spacious, and don’t feel crowded like housing in treatment often does. Groceries are provided with client input on what we like and want for the house

What's the Best Treatment for Meth Addiction?
The best treatment for meth addiction may vary from person to person. Often, the best treatment for meth addiction will be detox, followed by inpatient care, and then an outpatient program. This is called a step-down approach, where a client starts in a higher level of care and moves down into lower levels of care as they progress in treatment.
In any case, it is important that the underlying causes of addiction are addressed in treatment and that a person leaves treatment with the skills they need to remain sober. Clients must have adequate time in treatment so that they can successfully build new patterns, create a support system, and get comprehensive care overall.
We offer a full continuum of care and help clients with addiction, mental health, and dual diagnosis concerns. Atlas Healthcare Group’s treatment centers are focused on providing comprehensive treatment that addresses your full spectrum of needs as a client.
Treatment Options at Atlas Healthcare Group
Here are our treatment offerings and a little bit about what each entails. Most clients use a step-down approach and pursue multiple levels of care or treatment options, but not always. If you have any questions about getting treatment at Atlas Healthcare Group, whether for yourself or someone else in your life, please feel free to get in touch at your earliest convenience.
Detoxification
Getting off of substances like meth can come with uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. Professional detoxification or detox services help you get off of drugs and alcohol safely with the support and supervision of trained medical staff. Most often, clients attend detox on a short-term basis before they enter another level of care, such as residential inpatient, so that they can enter their program sober.
Residential inpatient
Residential inpatient is the most intensive level of care used in meth addiction treatment. In residential inpatient treatment at a meth rehab center, clients eat, sleep, and live on-site for the duration of their program. You can expect a structured weekly schedule consisting of group therapy, individual sessions, meals, recreation, and other activities. Clients have free time at the end of each treatment day and get to take advantage of our luxury amenities. These include but aren’t limited to private rooms, chef-prepared meals, a game room, a fitness center, smart TVs, acupuncture, and massage.
Attending residential inpatient treatment is a valuable experience and the first choice for many clients because it temporarily removes you from triggers in everyday life while you learn new skills and strengthen your sobriety in a 100% drug-alcohol-free space.
Partial hospitalization
Partial hospitalization programs are also called PHP or partial day treatment. PHP provides the most intensive care you can get on an outpatient basis. Rather than live on-site, you will return home or to our sober living facilities at the end of each treatment day as a PHP client. Most clients in PHP can expect to attend treatment 3-5 days per week for group therapy, individual therapy, medication management, and other treatments or activities. While in PHP, you will spend most of the day at your treatment center on scheduled treatment days.
Intensive outpatient
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a form of treatment less intensive than a partial hospitalization program but more intensive than traditional outpatient therapy. IOP clients at Atlas Healthcare Group can expect to attend care at least 10 hours per week, but treatment days are shorter than they are in PHP. Due to its increased flexibility, IOP can be ideal for clients who intend to work, go to school, or care for their family while in treatment.
Outpatient
Outpatient is the most flexible level of care with the lowest required time commitment. Usually, outpatient is used as a step-down form of care or for individuals with mild symptoms. An outpatient program may entail a combination of treatments, such as weekly groups and individual therapy sessions. Specific therapies and treatments will depend on you and your treatment needs.
Aftercare planning
Aftercare planning is an essential component of treatment because it prevents relapse. All Atlas Healthcare Group clients create an aftercare or relapse prevention plan as they near graduation from their treatment program. Aftercare looks different for everyone and can entail various services. For example, continued therapy or support groups.
Sober living
Also called supportive housing, sober living not a level of care, but it is a valuable resource shown to enhance recovery outcomes in research. The luxury sober living facilities at Atlas Healthcare Group provide accountability and structure for clients in treatment (e.g., an outpatient program) while providing independence similar to that of a standard rental agreement.
